The Philadelphia Rebels followed a great afternoon by the Philadelphia Flyers with an incredible game at the Wells Fargo Center. We were on hand for this great event and had the privilege of having all three photographers shoot the game. The Rebels shut out the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights in front of a great crowd on Saturday night.
Ryan Keane recorded a shutout, while Brandon Stanley and Nicolas Appendino scored goals to pace a Rebels’ offense that dominated the Knights, outshooting them by more than 20. It was the first time the Rebels had every played in the Wells Fargo Center, spending the most of their history in Aston and this season at University of Penn in Philadelphia.
We put together three albums from all of our photographers showcasing their work and the incredible atmosphere for this historic event.
Let’s take a look through the lens of our photographer Heather Barry‘s best photos from last night’s game.
Then a look at Casey Liberatore‘s best photos from last night’s game.
And finally Fourth String‘s best photos from last night’s game.
You can follow along all season as our photographers highlight the best action of each game. The Flyers return to the ice on Monday night against the Golden Knights. The Rebels return home to the Class of 1923 Arena on Sunday against the Titans.
