The Philadelphia Flyers lost a tough one to the best team in the Eastern Conference on Thursday. They now head into the break in a playoff position, which is great considering they had a 10-game losing streak in the midst of the season. Wayne Simmonds and Nolan Patrick threw their bodies around all night, trying to create some sort of energy. Travis Konency had a breakaway early in the first period, but couldn’t finish. He would later get a power play goal, making that the fourth-consecutive game with a goal for him.
