The Philadelphia Flyers All-Stars cleaned up this weekend!
Leier scored three goals to lead the Atlantic Division to a second place finish as they lost to the Central Division in a shootout. The Atlantic went 3-0 in the round robin stage, but couldn’t put the finishing touches on a perfect night.
Here’s one of the three goals for Leier on the evening, a tap-in on the backdoor.
The fans certainly appreciated the efforts of the hometown MVP.

The Atlantic didn’t win it all, but Leier enjoyed the whole experience of All-Star Weekend. “It was an exceptional weekend,” he said. “The Lehigh Valley did a tremendous job. Our organization, I think took a lot of pride in this weekend and it was great for everyone. It was great for the fan base, it was great for Allentown as a city.”
Leier has been a bright spot for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms this season with 28 points (9 goals, 19 assists) in 34 games played. He of course also picked up his first career NHL goal this season as well as his first assist for two points in 10 games.
It was a fun weekend for the trio of Phantoms, but they’ll get back to work this weekend with games on Friday and Saturday night.
