Sam Morin continues to be a physical force.
The Philadelphia Flyers defensive prospect showed off his fighting chops yet again at the end of Saturday night’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms 4-1 win. Right after Travis Sanheim iced the game with an empty netter to make it 4-1 with five seconds left, Morin threw down with Darren Archibald of the Utica Comets.
It was a pretty good bout.
The two were talking earlier in the game after a flying elbow from Archibald.
Morin will always stand up for his teammates, and he was ready to go.
However, he may receive a suspension for an instigator penalty in the final five minutes of the game.
The Phantoms are on a roll now and it should be an exciting spring in Lehigh Valley as they make a run towards the Calder Cup.
