It’s all happening!
Earlier this week, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms got a boost in net with the addition of Carter Hart to fill the injury void left by Anthony Stolarz. On Wednesday, the Phantoms bolstered their blue line with another top defense prospect.
Philippe Myers will join the Phantoms on an amateur tryout, making him eligible for the Calder Cup Playoffs, which begins Friday for Lehigh Valley.

Myers accumulated 25 points in 34 games for the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies of the QMJHL this season. He also recorded nine points (3 goals, 6 assists) in 13 games for the Huskies this postseason.
Myers joins Robert Hagg, Sam Morin, and Travis Sanheim on an already-stacked blue line for the Phantoms. It looks like the Philadelphia Flyers’ organization is all in for the Calder Cup and for the continuous growth of its prospects.
Myers looked good on a pair with Sanheim in the preseason with the Flyers, but we’ll have to wait and see how the pairs shake out.
Time to Rally the Valley; it’s Phantoms playoff hockey!
