It’s about time!
Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Petr Mrazek received his custom Flyers mask on Friday afternoon and it came out great. The mask features hand drawn images of Flyers legends Bobby Clarke, Bernie Parent, and Dave Schultz, while also featuring the words ‘Broad Street Bullies’ in the font and nameplate of those teams and the iconic 1974 and 1975 dates.
Take a look at the sweet get up for Mrazek, thanks to the Flyers.
Here’s a look at each side, with “Broad St” and “Bullies” adorning each side.
And the top, featuring three legends.
Mrazek had been using a plain white mask with some leftover stickers from the equipment room, looking like a created player from NHL18. Now, his badass mask is maybe an opportunity to change the luck of the Flyers, who have lost five-straight games and are looking to keep pace in the Metropolitan Division. Either way, Mrazek gets a new look and the history of the organization continues to be embraced by the players.
Mrazek will likely debut the new mask on Saturday at the Wells Fargo Center.
