The Flyers are making waves all over the world.
Philadelphia Flyers forward prospect Oskar Lindblom scored a goal today for Brynas to move within one goal of the league lead. The snipe was his 21st goal, putting him one behind linemate Kevin Clark who has 22 goals on the season.
Lindblom patiently waited out in front for the puck to squeak free and then capitalized on the turnover.
What a snipe by Lindblom, off the iron and in.
Lindblom played impressive game all around, according to our very own Alex Appleyard.

Lindblom now has 21 goals (2nd) and 23 assists (8th) for 44 points (3rd) in 49 games. He is out of range of catching the league lead in points, but could very well outscore Clark in the final three games.
Lindblom has three games left to catch Clark in the scoring race. If he does finish the season with the most goals he would be the youngest player in SHL history to do so.
With Lindblom impressing in the SHL as a boy against men, one would expect him to do some damage with the Phantoms in the AHL. The Swedish winger had seven points (two goals, five assists) in eight games with the Phantoms at the end of last season.
Lindblom’s SHL season could be over by April, allowing him to join the Phantoms for the end of their season and playoffs.
