Another game, another goal for Oskar Lindblom.
As one of the Philadelphia Flyers top forward prospects, and Lehigh Valley Phantoms top forwards, Oskar Lindblom is heating up. He scored in the first period of Friday night’s game in Toronto to give the Phantoms a 2-1 lead.
Lindblom got the puck to the front of the net as he skated by, then found the rebound in front as he was behind the net, and put it past the goaltender with a quick backhand shot.

He has been getting to the dirty areas all season long, and it’s beginning to show up more and more on the scoresheet. He wasn’t called up to fill a fourth-line role this week, but look for him to be called up to play in the middle-six, or even top-six, later this season.
Lindblom has now scored in three-straight games, and has goals in five of his last six games. He has eight points (five goals, three assists) in his last six games. Looking at a bigger picture, he has nine goals and eight assists for 17 points in his last 18 games.
Lindblom has 12 goals and 14 assists for 26 points in 36 games this season.
