One of the newest Philadelphia Flyers signees is making noise and having some fun while doing so.
Mikhail Vorobyov had three points in Team Russia’s 8-2 drubbing of Norway yesterday. He assisted on two goals later in the game with the score already out of reach, but his goal opened the scoring for the Russians and he had a celebration to match.
Vorobyov’s linemate got in deep on the forecheck and then he placed himself in front of the net and beat the goalie clean.
Another look at the goal, and the dab.
You do you, Mikhail.
Vorobyov is excited to come to North America and should be in the mix for roster spot come the fall. It looks like he’ll likely start in the AHL, but anything can happen in training camp.
