The injury bug continues to hit the Philadelphia Flyers. On Sunday night, Michael Raffl left the game with an upper-body injury and it was announced on Monday morning that Raffl would miss two weeks with an upper-body injury.
Raffl played a little over six minutes in the team’s 6-3 win over the Washington Capitals. Raffl has 11 goals and eight assists for 19 points, including three game-winning goals this season. He is one of seven Flyers, six forwards, to have appeared in all 73 games for the Flyers this year.
With Raffl out, expect Travis Konecny to slot right back in to the top line with Claude Giroux and Sean Couturier. Expect Jori Lehtera or Taylor Leier to get some time in place of Raffl in the bottom-six.
The Flyers return to action on Tuesday night against the Red Wings.
