Welcome back, Dad.
Philadelphia Flyers forward Matt Read will be in the lineup tonight against the Boston Bruins for the first time since October. He played in four games from October 21st to 30th, but was then sent down to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
Read will be in the lineup in place of Jordan Weal. Weal has struggled this season and he missed a few quality chances on Wednesday night.
Alex Lyon will also get the start, as expected, in the second half of the back-to-back.
Read had 16 points (seven goals, nine assists) in 33 games this season with the Phantoms. He has lost a step since his first few seasons, but can still be a good checking forward in the bottom-six.
The Flyers will take on the Bruins at 7 p.m.
