Jake Voracek ruthlessly owns hater on Twitter after extending point streak to four games

Saturday was a good day to be a Philadelphia Flyers fan. The Flyers won, the Penguins lost, and Jake Voracek dunked on a fan on Twitter.

First, the Flyers scored six unanswered goals to come back and stomp the Buffalo Sabres, 6-2, then later in the night, Voracek responded to a tweet at him.

“You are right. I’d say 600 points at the age of 29 with no brain is pathetic and embarrassing,” Voracek tweeted.

The fan called Voracek out after the win for some reason. Voracek had a point in the victory to raise his season total to 22 in 27 games. In fact, he is now on a four-game point streak with two goals and three assists in that span.

Voracek has 595 career points after Saturday’s win, so pretty close to 600. That ranks him 23rd since entering the league, and his points per game of 0.75 isn’t too shabby either.

Since joining the Flyers in 2011-12, Voracek has 461 points, good for 18th in the league. And since his breakout year in 2013, so five-plus seasons, he ranks 14th with 412 points in 476 games. That speaks to his longevity of course, but also his consistent production.

Voracek also has to be toward the top of the leaderboard in great tweets as well.

He called out the Eagles haters after the Super Bowl.

He told a fan to “beat it” after simply answering a question.

Another one.

And of course, his singing.

Jake Voracek (@jachobe) is a gem on Twitter … if he doesn’t have you blocked that is.
