The big man has some wheels.
Isaac Ratcliffe scored two goals on Friday night and was named the first star of the game as he led the Guelph Storm to a 4-2 win against Kingston.
His first goal was a Ratcliffe special. He set up at the doorstep, collected a pass, and stuffed it home to tie the game at 2.
He kept it going while shorthanded. He picked up the puck in the defensive zone and turned on the jets on a two-on-one rush. He gave the puck to his teammate, raced down the ice, and slammed home the return pass to give his team a 3-2 lead.
Look at that speed!
And the finish.
Ratcliffe scored the game-tying goal and game-winning goal in the victory.
Ratcliffe had just one goal in his last five games, but broke out with two goals and a +3 rating in Friday night’s win. Hopefully he can keep it going as the season continues.
He now sits at 35 points (21 goals, 14 assists) in 40 games this season.
