On Friday night Ratcliffe earned second star honors in a losing effort. He picked up an assist on the lone goal and was a driving force all night as he recorded eight shots on goal.
Early in the game he barreled through the neutral zone to cause a turnover that led to a scoring chance for his team.
His team couldn’t generate much offense, but he worked hard in the offensive zone to win a battle and nearly net a goal.
The Guelph Storm were down 2-0 late in the game, but they were on the man advantage with the big man in front.
Ratcliffe got the puck to the point then camped out in front of the net to screen the goalie on Ryan Merkley’s goal.
The big man could make a living in front of the net on the power play
The Storm lost 2-1, but Isaac Ratcliffe was named the second star of the game thanks to his assist and whopping eight shots on goal.
Ratcliffe didn’t record any points in the first two games of the season, but has two goals and two assists in his last three games. He is going to be fun to watch this year in the OHL.
