The Philadelphia Flyers have reached a deal with defenseman Christian Folin, the team announced on Thursday morning. Ron Hextall and co. added depth to the Flyers’ blue line following the departure of Brandon Manning to the Chicago Blackhawks.
The 27-year-old defenseman spent last season with Los Angeles Kings where he posted 13 points (3g-10a) in 65 games. Folin will be entering his fifth season in the NHL. He averaged 15:35 of ice time, over 14 minutes of which came at even strength last season.
