The Philadelphia Flyers continue to find success at all levels, including their prospects this week.
Let’s check in on the Flyers prospects, including Morgan Frost streaking again, Carter Hart putting up historic numbers in the WHL, Pascal Laberge having a bit of a breakout weekend, and the rest of the young guns that impressed this week.
Cooper Marody (Center, Michigan)
2016 6th round pick (158th overall)
We have a new Flyers NCAA scoring leader for the first time in a while.
Cooper Marody had another impressive weekend to leapfrog Laczynski.
Marody had a primary assist on Friday night, then added a goal and two more primary assists on Saturday for a four-point weekend. It’s back-to-back multi-point weekends for Marody, who had three points in two games last week.
Marody is now on a five-game point streak with nine points (two goals, seven assists) in that span. Three of those five games have been multi-point games.
He is tied for sixth in the NCAA with 41 points, and tied for fifth with 29 assists.

Tanner Laczynski (Center, Ohio State)
2016 6th round pick (169th overall)
Tanner Laczynski got back on the scoresheet this weekend for the first time in a few weeks.
Laczynski ended his five-game point drought with two goals on Friday night before being held pointless on Saturday.
Laczynski has dropped down a bit but is still tied for 12th in the NCAA with 39 points, and tied for 14th with 25 assists in his sophomore season.

Terrance Amorosa (Defenseman, Clarkson University)
2013 5th round pick (132nd overall)
Terrance Amorosa also ended his drought this weekend.
He picked up two primary assists on Friday night, then got another one on Saturday for a three-point weekend.
His three points in two games this weekend matched his point total from his previous nine games, including five straight games without a point.

Season total: 34 games, 6 goals, 19 assists, 25 points
Wyatt Kalynuk (Defenseman, Wisconsin)
2017 7th round pick (196th overall)
Wyatt Kalynuk and Wisconsin returned to action this weekend after an off week.
Kalynuk picked up one assist in two games this weekend. That’s about the pace for him this season, with .65 points per game.

Season total: 35 games, 3 goal, 20 assists, 23 points
Morgan Frost (Center, Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds)
2017 1st round pick (27th overall)
Morgan Frost is streaking yet again.
Frost picked up two assists on Saturday night and followed that up with two goals on Sunday for a four-point weekend. He was also a +3 in both games.
Frost now has a five-game point streak (five goals, five assists), which is rather low for him given his previous streaks of 20 games and most recently nine games. He has points in 14 of his last 15 games (10 goals, 17 assists for 27 points) and points in 34 of his last 36 games (26 goals, 44 assists for 70 points)
Frost is now one point behind Aaron Luchuk and Jordan Kyrou, who are each tied at the top with 99 points, is three assists behind Kyrou for first place, but still leads plus-minus by a large margin.

Matthew Strome (Left Wing, Hamilton Bulldogs)

Matthew Strome had a pretty good weekend.
He started the week with a goal on Monday, then had a goal and an assist for two points on both Friday and Saturday, but then had zero points on Sunday.
Strome has points in eight of his last 11 games with 16 points in that span. He has matched his career high in goals (34), and set a new career high in assists and points this season.
Strome is 10th in the OHL with 34 goals.

Season total: 58 games, 34 goals, 30 assists, 64 points
Isaac Ratcliffe (Left Wing, Guelph Storm)

Isaac Ratcliffe had another solid weekend.
He was held pointless on Monday and Sunday, but had a goal and assist on Friday as well as an assist on Saturday for a three-point weekend.
Ratcliffe has points in six of his last eight games. He has set a new career high in points with 55, surpassing last year’s total of 54.
Ratcliffe is 14th in the OHL with 32 goals.

Anthony Salinitri (Left Wing, Sarnia Sting)

Anthony Salinitri had a good weekend.
He extended his point streak to nine games with assists on Monday and Friday, but it ended after a pointless contest on Saturday. He added another assist on Sunday for a three-point week.

Season total: 60 games, 25 goals, 28 assists, 53 points
Maksim Sushko (Right Wing, Owen Sound Attack)

Maksim Sushko had an up-and-down week.
He had an assist on Monday and then a goal and an assist on Friday, but ended his weekend with two pointless games on Saturday and Sunday.

Connor Bunnaman (Center, Kitchener Rangers)

Connor Bunnaman is on fire! Well, for his standards.
After just six points in his first 20 games of 2018, Bunnaman caught fire with points in all three games this week. He started with an assist on Monday, got a goal and assist on Friday, then a goal on Sunday.
Hopefully Bunnaman can get back on track and end his season on a high note.

German Rubtsov (Center/Left Wing, Acadie-Bathurst Titan)

German Rubtsov continues to struggle offensively.
Rubtsov scored a goal on Thursday night, but was held off the scoresheet on Friday evening.

Pascal Laberge (Forward, Quebec Remparts)

Pascal Laberge had one of his best weekends in a while.
He had a goal and assist on Wednesday night, a goal and two assists on Saturday, then capped it off with another assist on Sunday for a six-point week.
It was his first time with back-to-back multi-point games since early October. He had six points total in his previous 12 games.
Laberge now has 20 points with Quebec in 26 games, matching his 20 points with Victoriaville in 31 games this season.

Carsen Twarynski (Forward, Kelowna Rockets)

Carsen Twarynski got back on track this week.
He scored two goals on Tuesday, added an assist on Friday, then scored a goal and picked up an assist on Saturday for a five-point week. Twarynski had five points in his previous 10 games.

Carter Hart (Goalie, Everett Silvertips)

Carter Hart keeps piling up the wins.
Hart allowed just one goal in each of his three starts this week en route to a perfect 3-0 record. He made 28 saves on Tuesday, 29 saves on Friday, and 23 saves on Saturday.
Hart is putting up historically great numbers in the WHL. He leads the league in shutouts (seven), goals against average (1.53), and save percentage (.951), and it isn’t even close.
Hart’s 1.53 goals against average is 1.27 goals better than the second place’s 2.80, and his .951 save percentage is 35 points higher than the second place’s .916.
Last week: 3-0-0-0, 80 saves on 83 shots (.964 SV%), 1.00 GAA
Season total: 26-4-1-3, 1014 saves on 1066 shots (.951 SV%), 1.53 GAA, 7 SO
