The Philadelphia Flyers opened their Canadian road trip with a late puck drop in Vancouver. In case you missed the whole game due to work, sleep, watching grass grow, watching paint dry, etc., we are here to provide you with all the GIF highlights you need!
The Flyers allowed a few early chances, and Steve Mason stood tall to stop most of them including these two prime chances by the Canucks.
Brandon Manning didn’t play very well, but he made one of the best checks of the game. Here it is from two angles.
Giroux was called for a ticky-tack penalty, but that allowed us to enjoy this moment, and it is now captured forever. That flow though.
The Flyers have had tough luck all season, and this shot by Wayne Simmonds that must have dented the post is a prime example of that.
The best save of the game did not come from a goalie however as Chris VandeVelde saved this puck from crossing the goal line.
Hey Brayden Schenn: good try, good effort.
Michael Del Zotto was mad on ice after the Canucks scored the empty net goal to seal it.
I’ll leave you with this.
