The Philadelphia Flyers finally broke through with a win on Saturday afternoon, but they stay winning off the ice.
Several of the boys gathered at Helium Comedy Club on Sunday evening for a night of laughs via The Claude Giroux Foundation. The Foundation benefits various charitable organizations mostly focusing on children in the Philadelphia and Hearst, Ontario areas.
Claude Giroux certainly appreciated the support of his teammates, as usual.
There’s a lot going on here. Maybe Michael Del Zotto went a little too far with a joke, as he cringes while Pierre-Edouard Bellemare reacts with a bit of shock and Shayne Gostisbehere gives him a strong “really, dude..” from his vantage point.
Then you have Travis Konecny, bless his little heart, all fired up like a true kid. And Matt “Dad” Read with the stone-face, no-fun agenda. The boys weren’t the only ones having fun, though.
The wives, fiancées, and girlfriends enjoyed the night as well, teaming up for a photo here that also captured the fun spirit of the night.
