Development camp is here!
The Philadelphia Flyers will take the ice for Development Camp on June 28th, and be on the ice the 29th, 30th, July 1st, and July 2nd. The annual camp will start with the iconic Trial on the Isle on June 27th in Stone Harbor.
Thursday’s ice times are 1:15-2:30 and 3:30-4:45 for skaters, and 12:15-1:30 and 3:45-4:30 for goalies. They will shift a bit earlier for the following three days, however.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday will operate with mostly the same schedule, with different groups of skaters taking the ice for morning practice sessions that start at 9:15 and 10:45 and afternoon sessions that start at 5:30 and 5:45. Ice slots for goaltenders are scheduled at 8:00, 9:30, 12:45 and 2:00 on Friday and Saturday, and at 9:15 and 10:45 on Sunday.
Development Camp will conclude with a 3-on-3 tournament on Monday, July 2nd at 1:00 p.m. All on-ice ice sessions are free and open to the public at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, New Jersey.
