“We are happy to have Travis under contract for the next six seasons,” Chuck Fletcher said. “Travis has shown progression in each of his three seasons and is an integral part of our group of young forwards. His speed, skill and tenacity sets him apart in today’s NHL.”
Konecny has been one of the Flyers’ best goalscorers since breaking into the league three years ago. He showed that off last season with career-highs in points (49), assists (25), and tying his career-high in goals with 24. His 24 goals ranked him third on the Flyers.
The legend is officially back.

It’s been a long summer waiting for Provorov and Konecny to sign, but they are both locked up on long-term deals and the orange and black are ready to go for the 2019-20 season.
