Captain Claude is at it again.
Philadelphia Flyers forward Claude Giroux sniped a beautiful goal in Canada’s 3-2 win against France after mixing it up with teammate Pierre-Edouard Bellemare earlier in the game.
With Canada losing 2-1 late in the second period, their power play went to work. Giroux got the puck near the top of the circle and fired a bullet past Florian Hardy.
Another look at the snipe with Wayne Simmonds camped out in front.
A perfectly placed shot.
Giroux now has two goals and four assists for six points through four games at the World Championships.
Canada will look to continue their undefeated start to the World Championships this weekend against Switzerland.
