Philadelphia Flyers prospect Carter Hart experienced a roller coaster World Junior Championship with Canada over the last couple of weeks that ended at the bottom of the hill with a shootout loss to the United States in the gold medal game.
Hart had nothing to hang his head about, though; the 18-year-old netminder bounced back with a tremendous performance in relief in the semis to earn himself player of the game honors and send Canada to the game in the first place. This was all after winning the starting job before the tournament, only to have it stripped from him after allowing some questionable pucks to squeak through.
After living through a lot of emotions over the tournament, Hart let them all loose in a postgame interview on TSN shortly after settling for silver.

We appreciate your raw emotion and obvious passion for the game, Carter, but you’re going to break our.. hearts.
